    As of the time of this post 1 single player has RSVPd on the official discord for this "event". This game is dead and even the core player-base that once was has moved on.

    It's weird how a new game cannot generate interest, but something like Project Gorgon will retain hundreds of players for years.

    Its not a good comparison. Gorgon has a nice fun tutorial, big cities and a large amount of stuff to do, lots of quests and bosses, and a much much better combat system. Has market place that players can set up vendors to sell their wares. Lots of skills, both combat and crafting and lot of quality of life stuff that makes a good game.

    Embers has very little of the above and is just boring ass grinding after doing the little amount of quests available.

    That boogles me even more how a game like Gorgon with what, 2 developers, can give players more of what they want with less fuss than so many other games.

    Dead games don't have anniversary events.
