    sounds interesting, maybe trying something different. Gamers are notorious for claiming they want something different then going off the rails when things are not the same ole same ole

    Shout out to Joel, are you the same guy that made a couple of really good modules for the old Bioware Neverwinter Nights many years ago?

    I'll try it when it releases - maybe not for full purchase price, I may wait a bit for a sale.

    I will not, however, reduce the name to 'D:A' when talking about it. Lmao. Did we need that?

    MMO but not an MMORPG? I'm not sure I've ever seen where that's the distinction they are trying to make. At least, I hope not, because it doesn't make any sense.

    This game is unequivocally an RPG. You control a character, you do quests, there is a story, there is a character progression system. Any game with these features is an RPG.

    As I understand it, the insistence on calling it an MMO is meant to contrast it with the decidedly non-massive nature of Conan, where the server setup is such that the MMO label cannot be applied in any honest way.

    "killer, explorer, survivor, crafter, and socialite", this is any TTRPG group you happen to play in. :D
