This is an oddity I have, but I always loved the low levels and die rolls of a classic DnD game. I played a few CRPGs in recent times that started you off with hundreds or thousands of HPs and you swing for 100+ damage per swing. FFXIV was absolutely sickening about this. I LOVE the idea of working up to the high numbers and feeling accomplished when you hit that first 3 digit mark, be it with HP or damage, etc.
Are there any computer RPGs that have the more classic low level numbers feel to them anymore?

For SPG's: Drakensang: The Dark Eye (Germany's RPG) or for a much more light hearted parody you have Dungeon of The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos.
SWG (pre-cu) - AoC (pre-f2p) - PotBS (pre-boarder) - DDO - LotRO (pre-f2p) - STO (pre-f2p) - GnH (beta tester) - SWTOR - Neverwinter
There is even a demo to try it out
Not quite what you asked for but it is basically old Runescape but single player.
