The development speed of Enshrouded vs Valheim is actually comical. The amount of content in each update since it's release in January of this year, it already surpasses all games in the open world survival craft genre. Version 1.0 is due out sometime mid-late next year on PS5 and XBox and they did it with the same amount of developers as Valheim has that took Iron Gate almost 4 years to create Valheim. As a person who loves Valheim for all it does, I can't deny Enshrouded is the new benchmark for this type of game. It just has so much more content and variety going for it.
Every time Goonsquad/SA/DS post salt on Star Citizen, I spend more money on it. Every time a mentally disturbed former backer or Elite CMDR toxic emo comments, I spend more money on it. Every time they refuse to answer why they spend so much time arguing about a game they don't even like, I spend more money on it. Want to watch the world burn because you can't have your way? You got whats coming to you.
I managed to put a few hours into Enshrouded today and im enjoying the update!
The extra NPCs and allowing the existing NPCs to wander certainly breathes new life into my base. Luckily I'd already built houses and bedrooms for all of them, so assigning them beds was easy. I'm curious to see how many new townsfolk I can get for the base and what sort of variety they come in. I'd already built a barracks and tavern, so hopefully i get some thematically appropriate people to put in them. I've also got a massive temple, complete with domitories for all the priests and acolytes.....so hoping to get some robed townsfolk i can house in there!
Haven't started on taming animals yet. I'm gonna need to do some significant work on my base in order to incorporate a decent farmyard for all the new stuff, and at this point im considering having an underground farmyard. I've already got a big mined out area beneath my base large enough for plenty of animals!
Biggest improvement from my limited time so far: using the grappling hook to pull flying creatures towards me! I had ended up going mage previously just because I got so annoyed dealing with flying stuff, but now im back to full melee! Still waiting on a decent 2 handed weapon tho......give me a big damn axe or 2h sword!

I never had any issues with performance when I was playing it originally. My play session yesterday seemed fine, performance was good for the most part. It did lag/stutter on a few occasions (which i dont remember happening before), was generally about 5 seconds where the game kinda hung, then it was fine again. Tended to happen when opening up a new vista (like exiting a cave), and only happened in the new zone which has me thinking it was related to the new weather system.
Not really spent enough time in game though to know for sure. Also, i only play solo, so if the performance was related to multiplayer then i have no clue.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
I would love to hear answer for this if anyone has. This has cause me to refund , and since I am waiting for any change on this ?
