Last Oasis Season 6 is actually here. After announcing Season 6 would be happening after massive overhauls and a return to PVP-focus, the Donkey Crew team has opened up the beta test.

    As long as "Seasons" exist this game will struggle. Making it hard to level, long to gain materials and difficult to unlock greater items then just "wiping" the whole thing after a few months will keep people away.
