Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
I'm fairly certain there is pvp.

Some of our posters have been talking about their experiences on here, so I don't think so.
Just hope its not like SWG in the fact that people put housing anywhere they wanted, you would run through the wilderness and run into basically abandoned citys, becuase all these players built in the same place and then quit playing leaving a mess all over, if people change a world(terraform) and then quit, will players be able to undo thier changes?

This has been fixed in most persistent world games. There's a decay timer, set to varying lengths depending on the game. Once it expires, the buildings go poof. And in the defense of SWG, while that happened a lot later in the game, the earlier cities weren't abandoned. They may often SEEM that way, as people weren't 1. Online at the same time, and 2. Maybe Online but off adventuring. Would have loved to see the ability for NPC citizens to spawn in. How neat would that be?!?!

Oh yeah, people would come and go through player cities at all hours of the day. They were awesome because we all made good use of them, as mission points, travel hubs to remote areas of planets, respawn points, shopping ect.
Urban sprawl never bothered me as much as it did some because it filled out the big empty areas and made the planets feel alive. Yeah there was the weird mob spawn issues and lag that caused you to run into them before they loaded making traveling feel like a maze, but that was a technical issue of the time. Not all areas in SWG allowed building either. I'm an explorer and part of that for me is checking out what people create, so I welcome areas that allow urban sprawl.
Nice sign me up. I am down to man's insatiable need to expand and colonize. Charge!!!!!
later in the game? I played beta then thru the first big change, quit just before the NGE the changed it to much.
6 months in there where abandoned cities all over the place and they where abandoned not just no one there atm, the entire game was abandoned for the most part, thats why the changes happened.

We actually just lifted the restriction on recordings. Livestreaming is still not allowed yet.
Yes, homesteading and having personal areas is a thing. So is a group claiming an entire planet so a guild can homestead all together.
