    It's diffrent then most of the f2p games but dont expect to compare it to p2p games. It's pretty cool thou since u get to fly a ship around and control it and stuff instead of the tradition and common point and click stuff. However, it is still in beta, keep that in mind especially when dealing with all the bugs or maybe thats just my pc. I suggest you try it out since its free and decide for yourself if you like it.

    It's fun as a F2P game, at least for a short time. I say this as a person who is highly skeptical of F2P games. There are some flaws to take note of before you play. I play the game at 1280x960 with max settings, forced 16x high-quality anistropic filtering and forced 6x antialiasing. Even then, some things are gamebreakers where appearance is concerned for me. Many terrain textures are either repetitive or of very low quality, usually both. Another issue is simply the size of the world. It's not big, and you don't see a huge amount of variety, but I suppose that's about on par for a free MMORPG.

    My main beef is that in the long-run, it doesn't appeal to me personally as either a simulator or MMORPG because it's a bastardization of the two concepts without preserving what made either of the two fun. There's not much strategy needed for character customization, and there's no simulator-style skill required. After a few days, I felt like I was standing in a fishbowl full of MMORPG players who couldn't hack it in a real competitive action game and came there to pretend they were playing a skill-based game.

    the game is fun for what its worth... i actually had a good time with the simple missions.
    will i get bored with it in a few days? probably

    when I go to this site http://www.spacecowboy.net/sign_up.htm I cant register its says "we didnt receive above member joining from this home page" am I doing something wrong?? Or is the registering already closed??

    you can call this game more Space Camping or Camp Cowboys - dont expect any really good air battles the only battles you see most is camping the jumpgates. after i saw how the fights look like, i was really annoyed that i inveted so much time to lvl up my gear for this crap.
