Which is worse supporting SoE or supporting a website like stratics.
I can honestly say I hate Stratics Network more than I hate SoE and more than I dislike MMORPG.com.
The people at Stratics.UO are frauds, they allow biased moderators. They never update the information on who works on the game. Honestly its even more a sham site than this website is.
Their shard forums they allow the largest GM of that shard to work as a moderator and he has been known to openly dislike people in game and employ his influence to get them exiled. I had a post in another forum get removed because the moderator of that forum was in his guild. he sent me a PM threatening me it was timestamped before my post was removed then I got a PM from the guildmate/moderator of his saying they were removing the post. I sent it in using the email complaint to the head Stratics Moderators, nothing was done, I sent it in the Wilki, and Binky at the time who represent UO from EA, they did nothing. Wilki use to work for stratics before he got the job at EA so I know for a fact he coulda tracked it down. Nothing happened.
I even PM'ed Joshua_Rowan about the non-updated information webpages about the developers on game, he said they would be updated within X amount of time, they never were.
Sorry I won't onto stratics ever again.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the UO side of Stratics, but my little piece of Stratics is completely separate from them. There is me and my content manager, so unless we've done something to personally get you PO'ed, please either give us a chance, or just let it go. Thanks.
As for SOE, I don't know how many times it's been stated that SOE will ONLY be printing the CD's, distributing the cd's/boxes, and marketting. That's it! I have no idea how much clearer this can be stated. Perpetual Entertainment has 100% control over game design, server maintenance, customer service, etc, etc.
The only way you can complain about SOE's involvement in this project is if you have been burned by looking at a magazine ad, opening a computer game box, or the game CD's didn't work and were unable to return them.
Getting upset over SOE's involvement for any other reason is simply illogical.

SOE's involvement will be marketing. I happen to feel that it was the marketing side of SOE that was a large factor in destroying a game.
When a company has to go out of their way and explain to people that their partner won't be tainting a product, it is already too late.
