    No one's getting accepted until AFTER Febuary 4th... Then it'll probably take them another week to contact the ppl. Even then that doesn't mean that's when beta will start. Beta could be another month off. So atm, NO one is in beta, not even blizzard employees because they're still in Alpha.

    Correct.  That is why beta sign ups end on the 4th.  They will for sure not take anyone until then and I expect it to be several weeks after that until beta starts.  Hopefully it's not more than a month, though.

    A: We can't answer that for you. If you get an email saying you made it before the beta ends, you signed up correctly. If you never get an email, it's still possible you signed up correctly but were not chosen."

    That was taken from a Q&A on the blizzards boards. There is still a chance you may get a email stating your in beta before the sign-ups end. Just dont mean beta will start right away tho.

    I know a couple on their friend list however the beta hasn't dropped in their mailbox and won't untill all the rest of us gets it

    Ok, you are confused.....if you get an email before the beta ends (meaning the actual beta testing, not sign up, then you got in).....That does not mean the beta sign-up period.

    1) several thousand users will be accepted image

    2) one user per IP (household)

    3) here is minimum requirements, if you got slower PC there is no point to sign up (they got some ActiceX plugin which during registration automatically checks your PC for requrements, no more fakers image):

    Windows® System/OS:


    • 800 Mhz or higher CPU.
    • 256 Megabytes or more of RAM.
    • Geforce 2 Graphics Card or better.
    • 3 Gigabytes or more of available hard drive space.
    • DirectX® 9.0 or above.

    4) got something to ask, here is WoW support email: wowsupport@blizzard.com

    they are saying that beta testers will be selected on a random basis so harry up till it isn't over.

    You need a Geforce three or beter for the beta, and they're looking for a 900 mghz cpu.  You quoted the game specs not that beta specs.  Otherwise right on brother man.

    No...it is Geforce 2 or higher....Just checked on the beta sign up page.

    Blizzard is after an array of gamers with various operating systems. Guess they want to get feedback from the beta testers from all various platforms, so they can make the game run as smooth as possible to suit the majority out there.

    I signed up for it. Hope to be accepted. image
