I've never heard much about what happens when you die....what exactly happens? image

    That, my good friend, is a very philosopical discussion. I do think that it will be a bit like DAoC, if there's noone arownd when you die to rez you, then you go back to your last save. But I have absolutely no idea if you lose any objects, weapons, money or exp...image

    It depends on your level. Newbies will respawn with all their equipment but higher levels will lose something. Gold will probably be lost - I can't tell for certain.

    Ya, i hope we won't loose any rare equipment. Otherwise we should always spend one day to get it back :(

    No idea how the player economy will work. It's been said that there will be no (or almost no) equipment drops off mobs. Everything (almost) will be crafted by players.

    In such a economy it would make sense to have items degrade over time and espicially upon death of your avatar. (Just my speculation)

    Now that you mention this, I haven't seen anything about death on their site or anywhere else.  If anyone knows anything, please post a link image......My guess is that the higher your level the more severe the penalty will be.  What that penalty is, who knows :)

    i beleave this was in the dev chats  at www.sofdnl.com

    when you die you will have the choose to spawn at one of the mana fountains of your faction and equipment will be lost but you can gain it back over time the more powerfull the equipment the longer for it to apear in your invintory again or you could go to your corpse and you could loose some gold or exp not decided yet dont think

    but if in a castle seige you will be put in a plane were u can communicate with only other dead pll till battle is over or something like that not to sure
