is anyone thinking about checking out UXO?

in Dark Age of Camelot

A good friend of mine just got called me on her way out of  the EA gaming event in san francisco.  I am not sure who knows about the event, but she got a free trip just because they saw her online a lot (and they flew her there and back) ... apparently there were tons of people there who played DAOC all the time.  the main reason for the event was to announce Ultima X Odyssey.  She said everyone was really impressed... they are just now announcing the game, and apparently they are letting eveyone play it.  she was amaized at how developed the game already was... even said she though it was even farther along than SWG was at release.  apparenlty the combat was amazing... i was wondering what evryone has thought about the prospect of UXO... are you thinking about playing it? do you care?  I went and checked out http://ultimaxfan.com it has a good bit of info up on the site (and the video is worth checking out if nothing else)

    I am thinking about playing it too. sis you see the new game specs from Hanna on the tier system of aquiring abilities?  not too bad.  there are over 2,000 abilities and hybrids you can chose to achieve...and abilities give you virtue points.  I think I will check out...

    I am also thinking of playing it just hoping my computer will be up for the job. Hey as I am really new to mmo what does beta mean.

    Its not pvp....I cant believe they have the balls to name this UO anything when old UO had the dopest pvp ever.

    I'm thinking about checking out UXO.  The Ultima World, though not it's P vs P, has always intrigued me.  If EQ2 were not on the horizon, I'd probably make UXO my main next game for sure.  Either way, though I'll probably break down and buy it just to see what it's like.

    I thinnk EQ2 and WoW might be overrated.  Cal has been leaking new info about UXO, and the new fly through is pretty impressive on the uxoo.com site.  HAve you seen Karken and the other crew that was just posted?
