You've placed total faith in the devs, despite their record. If I flat out ask you "what have they done right", the ONLY response you can give (and have given, on several occasions), is "the devs are doing their best."

But your assertation is based on absolutely nothing.

I've said it before ZtyX, I don't begrudge you for enjoying the game. If you have fun with it, more power to you. But what I find disturbing is your seeming ability to place all of your faith in a group of computer game developers who have done nothing but fail fail FAIL. Repeatedly.

You profusely thank the devs for a patch you've never seen, because they performed testing you never saw, on a server that you never saw, using methodology you know nothing about.

Based on the fact that this is the EXACT SAME KIND of testing that DnL went through before release, and DnL had a plethora of ridiculous bugs at release, any rational, thinking person would sit back, and actually wait and see exactly what this patch does.

But not you. Nope. You thank the devs, and gush about how great a job they're doing.

I just don't understand it is all.

    Sadly, such rationality is wasted on the likes of Ztyx.  Mike has a way of putting into words what a lot of us would like to say but are not articulate enough to express.  And for that I always look forward to his posts.

    Aye, those were my thots too. Its too damn logical, reasonable - sensible for it to be taken to heart and learned much less employed by the likes of ANY of the fans at DNL.

    Yup.  Apparently, Eisenherz got really, REALLY angry with everyone in that thread.

    Which I don't understand, since I've seen much nastier threads go far longer.

    Aww I even get form letter warnings. And there I was trying to improve the community with some helpful advice.

    Eisenherz was mellowed out again in PMs when I was bugging him about it.
