Console gaming and MMORPGs

I would like to see a news report on cross platform MMORPG gaming (Console/PC).  People around here seem to fear it like the boogey man.  Will it will take elements away from the games we are currently playing?  Will console games ruin crafting, publishes, expansions, In-game mail, emotes, etc?

The common belief with consoles seems to be "if you can't do it on a 20 button gamepad it won't be in the game" Do we have cause for alarm or is it much ado about nothing?

    it's not so much the consoles we fear, it's the mentality that those console gamers bring into the equation.

    It was hard enough for people to equate all types of PC gamers, but now we have GTA addicts mixed into the game? No wonder APB is being created, this genre is going to hell ::::12::

    Yea, it might be true that console players have a totally dirrerent view of gaming. And it doesn´t fit to PC-MMORPG but if you can sort by PC/console games it would be easy to evade

    So I don´t care...
