(DISCLAIMER: This post is not meant to sound cocky or arrogant. The poster is a Darkfall fanboy.)

I've been hearing about 'Archlord' to be one of the next-best PvP MMO's in development. I've also heard that Archlord is nothing but a 'L2 clone' and it'll suck balls.

Anyway,I've looked at some videos of the Archlord races and a bit on the website. I'm pleased to hear that the open beta seems to be in the next month or so. I've been dying to play one of these supposed 'next-gen PvP-based' MMOs. The videos I have looked at have impressive graphics.

Ok. I want to be told exactly WHY I should bother with Archlord's upcoming beta. From the MMORPG.com followers of the game.

In any MMO these days I want a strong PvP element,and maybe some decent PvE. I would like to hear that Archlord has an unique combat system; it doesn't have to be manual aim but if the auto-aim adds some interesting combat twists thats ok. I'd like a game that isn't a grindfest preferably also.

Ok,flame/convince away.

    You shouldn't. if the Darkfall list sounds like your thing, then this game will only dissapoint you as Archlord will take a complete diffrent direction then you ask for. its not a next-gen pvp based MMO.

    Well ok,just give me ANY reason to bother beta'ing Archlord. I don't mind PvE either you know.

    There isn't. the game will be for a big part about the Archlord guild politics, but since the game will be released in september, and Beta is end of august, you won't be able to see anything of the Guild poliitics or the Archlord system. the PVE is pretty standard.

    Hehe, so one of the core things about the game, won't be tested until release...  This is why MMOs are doing so well when they come out. :P

    I realize that this feature isn't everything about the game, but its things like this that crack me up in MMO testing.  "Just make sure people can log in and level, we'll worry about the 'end game' stuff later..."

    Its already tested in Archlord korea. the worst that could happen is a small translation issue. its not really endgame content, as the politics start around lvl 60 heh.
