So I was browsing this place when I came across a poll that made me really think. Its the poll that asks about lore in an MMORPG and has a lot of answers to choose from. REALLY when role playing, what does story mean to people? Does role playing involve a story? Well of course it does! More so than any other game genre! I say those people who rate a game in the reviews, when rating the roleplaying section, should definately take a games lore into consideration. What makes the games...'game play' aspect of roleplaying? Well the lore...the story does. In WoW, why the hell is it so difficult to get from Stormwind to Darnassus? One can say 'well Timmy cause the night elves reckless use of magic has divided Azeroth and endangered all life on the planet so they made a refuge'. Or something of that sort. I'd like to try my own Poll...

    I prefer a unique and deep story. Since I wouldn't play a game that lacks that, I obviously wouldn't RP in it either. :P

    A game with no story has no purpose, no purpose no point. Therefore a game with no story is pointless, I rest my case.
