knight online account scam

hello everyone,

i resently signed up for knight online, all went to plan, yet i cannot log in because i was meant to get a activation code. after a week of wating i can still not get on the game, support is only for people who have an account, so i signed up using my secondary email adress, and guess what, that didnt come through either! anyone know why or hav ethis problem???

in the end i have left it and now am a full time saga of ryxom player!!! yet i would still like to get knight to work

    How exactly is this a scam? Free MMo's often have lousy registration processes imo. I once registeded for that game and i dont recall having any problems. Did you try looking through there forums for any hints?

    How can a free game be a scam? Are you only saying that because they now have your e-mail addresses when you signed up for it?

    Sounds like either you typed your email address in too fast for your own good and typed it wrong or you didn't look in your junkmail folder to see if your confirmation is in there. It might also mean your CC info didn't go through correctly and you haven't checked your transaction records. The last possiblity is that your went to a phishing site rather than the official site and game your info to the wrong people. Knights Online in the US is K2Networks, if you didn't sign up with them I would probally cancel your CC. Generally games that have to have "keeping your account safe" link all over thier front page I'm not going to put my CC anywhere near, generally it means that they've washed thier hands of any security obligations in thier license agreement if you lose control of your account/character.

    when i said scam i didnt mean it in a mean way, it was a gag cause  icouldnt think of anything else, you 2 are way to uptight, jsut chill its only a joke...

    Asking you to confirm, as to in what way you thought this was a scam, is being too uptight? LOL. In that regard I would have to say you're paranoid and delusional.

    Are there any GOOD scams? If you didn't mean "scam" in a mean way, then you might want to clarify next time what you did mean by it. That way, no one will be labelled as "uptight" just for asking you a question for clarification.

    mabey..
    just maby you didnt check your junk-mail..
    that often happens with free MMO's..
    its happend to me alot in the past =)
