Eveonline is just like a solo game/ offline game

I agree..EVEonline is just nth but a freakish lame game that is even worse than spacecowboy..and what is the most lame thing is that it looks more like a solo game then a mmorpg..with me having the entire trial time with no one beside me or i can see..it is really lonely. Okay the difference is that it chat channel..makes it online.

    I think the OP is confused...three years and I never seen the "newbie" systems empty of players...wait there was that one time when a well known pirate came in and blasted us....but that was long ago.

    EVE is not even close to be a solo game.

    It may require you to join up in a player corp.

    Unless if I am wrong on that.

    Currently there are 18,166 players spread across 5,000+ solar systems. That means there's an average of 3.6 people per system.

    I always hear about these "200 vs 200" fleet battles, but never seen a screenshot of one. Are they a myth like bigfoot or do they really exsist? We want screenshots dangitt!!!

    The game would be unplayable if that many ships were in the same zone.

    Yeah they hit high population marks, but it's not like these people are all near eachother.

    The OP has a good point EVE can feel very lonely for a newbie starting out. Theres no real incentive to group or even talk to anyone or even do anything. Its a definite sandbox game and without any pushes in the right direction yer just left out there doing the same boring agent missions over and over.

    Perhaps youll say that in a sandbox game its up to the player to go out and seek the experience. Well if the single player experience for eve is boring and sucky how much better could grouping possibly be? My answer? Not Very.

    No shit. Going to a newbie system (expecially near the station) is like looking at an Ant Hill. Those little f'ers are everywhere.

    That looks like crap.

    I expected to see fleets of ships like in StarTrek Deep Space Nine battle with Dominion. Or at least something like in Stargate, fleets of Guo'uld motherships fighting replicators.

    From your screenshots, I don't even see any ship, only colored tiny dots...

    No idea how this site became over-ran with Eve fanboi's. Its a semi decent space mmorpg but not worth a monthly fee nor should it be anywhere near the top5 ranking.
