MMORPG.COM lists The Chronicle's est release date as 12/31/05. is this accurate? if not, what stage of development is the game at currently?

Im thinking of preordering as im in agreeance with most that the list of game features sounds awfully good. ive been looking for a similar designed game for years. Trials of Ascension has permadeath and some similiarly interesting features, but unfortunately its got the faint whiff of vaporware surrounding it. Dark and Light interested me as well but after getting a chance to try it...woah that game has sooo many problems lol.

The most current information i've read is that beta launch was pushed back to Jan/Feb timeframe with a release of March.

If you pre-order you'll be added to the beta group and can access the beta community website/forum and get early access to the closed beta testing program once that starts.

yeah call me stupid for pre ordering an mmorpg, but I am desperate for something new to play ::::16::
