Back when this game was in development I was really looking forward to it.  It seemed to be my type of game.  It was iconoclastic and I loved it for that.  But now with it released and many bad reviews I have my doubts.  I admit I havn't followed the game or its reviews very closely with me being in france and without a computer for the last month so I don't know exactly everything new that has happened.  Anyway, I want to find out the truth about this game.  If I logged in today what would I find?  What were your first experiences with the game?  If you don't play it anymore why?  If you still play it why?  Thanks

its not our place to tell you what to do. I voted maybe for this simple reason.

Wait till it is more developed, say a month or 2 then take another look. Or, take the other route, buy it then wait and see what happens. No monthly fees means no loss if you don't play.

I'd have to agree with Virtus.  Do your own research, read the forums and make your conclusion from that.  Too many people are biased one way or the other.  It may seem like alot of people here strongly disliked the game, but really to me it seems most of those posts come from the same handful of people, many of whom never even played the game.  On the other hand, it's true that some people exaggerate the games virtues.

People have different tastes.  Basically, it comes down to some people like it for what it is and can be, some people don't.  Decide which one you'll be, and make your decision based on that.

I am pretty certain I hear the sound of axes being ground in the background...but, you two keep on with the early assesments...it worked out so well for CNN.

As for the OP, Impactus said it better than I could.
