Stargate?

Ever seen the show stargate? It would make a great mmorpg!

Walking aboard a GOU'LD mothership or at SG1. Or shoot some peaple with a Zat. Would it be a better rpg or fps like

planetside?

    heh funny i had a dream of this once it be based b4 the series after the Gou'ld attack earth and SG becomes unclassified then starts right b4 open war and after about a half year of gold finnaly moves to full out war with them in spaceships and all kinds of fun stuff :P

    oh yeah.  an SG-1 mmog is my dream mmog!  You already have arrays of weapons, ships, planets.  Oh so much could go into this game.  Top races to play:

    Goa'uld, Human, Jaffa (rebel or not), Coronan (jonas' race), asgard, or an ascended. So many more though.  Would say Tolan but they were wiped out.  Maybe Simmerian.  Oh hell, I'll shut up now.

    I love the show, but don't think it would be a very good MMORPG.  Maybe a good single player game though.

    Stargate would be cool but not near as cool as Starcraft

    meh =_= i see the show occasionally wen im sitting in the living room late at nite, too lazy to change the channel and it just seems boring...

    im pretty shur if they ever did make an MMO of it, it would flop hard

    Well if it were released at teh same time as MMORPG version of Donky Kong I would have a hard time choosing, JK I think it would be cool as long as they got it to where you could run through a Gate every time you need to escape but just as you are about to enter it a message pops up to tweak your concious that you have not finished your mission.

    Stargate system should be more of a travel system then actually based the game on it, to limited I think. :)

    Althought those mind controlling larva civilisation over ancient Egypt is reaaaalllly sweet in itself alone.

    As much as I love the show I'd have to say no on the mmorpg idea. However, I'd love to see a Stargate singleplayer/multiplayer fps/adventure game or something. ::::02::
