you just said on yur previous post that WoW makes people stupid, so you just attacked all 5million of us, this thread, and many members of mmorpg.com personally.....yur a fanboi...wow is superior to rf online in many ways.....you can put the games next to eachother and measure....music, graphics, depth in gameplay, pvp, classes, actual world terrain, an integrated website, etc....wow hands down...
technically rf online has been out 2years, but just released/published here a week ago....localization isnt that hard.....and if you dont know what localization is, you REALLY cant start talking about better games....just be honest....its the internet, we're all somewhat anonymous.
currently i'm lvl 16 accretian specialist on spirit....i just got done a 12+ hour run; its not good as wow or even coh....its like a buffed up ragnarok+RYL....the chat system is sup-par, textures are very weak, mobs are somewat uninspired, but i'm not giving up on it yet....
to get back to the topic, i dont know about the pvp. i have to grind my way to a reasonable lvl to actual be useful....so, i'm atleast trying to get to 30 and see if this game completely sucks or to see if RF Online is hiding a gem in it's pvp....
also, this game seems dated....while playing this game, i was thinking about starting my lin2 account back up.....the smell of grind brings me back to the spring of '04...i think lin2 looked better too..
dude, rf's monster ai is non-existent....yur kinda clueless...i embrace every game for what it brings to the table, in all it's beauty and ugliness.

Ever notice it's the same 5 people that constantly bash the game? No one else bothers to waste their time in a forum for a game they do not like. I suppose some people find this kind of thing entertaining. It could be worse, they could be playing the game and then we would have to put up with silly comments while we play.

WoW and RF do not in anyway compare they are very different approaches to MMO's, RF never will be a game where you get to be an uber pwner and no one will care, and I played WoW to 60 almost as big a waste of time as SWG
Well after reading all the posts I really cant say much I think some things in RF look really nice and for a small company they did give it a good run you all playing RF hope you all have fun and GL to all fighting in the world . I am not a heavy fan of RF its world is of course missing things but for the most part the people I have meet in RF and RF forms have been fairly nice and educated older individuals.
For WoW I have to say there are some good things but PVP is a no go they made WoW more PVE oriented then PVP wise. Also WoW only has a good fan base mostly because of its name Warcraft (Blizzard) thats all ! the game WoW is not all bad.. But its no gold bar either. I would have to rate this one for the younger people its a very easy MMO then others.
I personally play Lineage 2 ever since Open Beta in Korea I seem to like the PVP the most in this one. The Grind is tough but you have to like the grind to play it like RF. I perfer a grind then quick leveling I get bord quick when I max out a character. The only MMO that wins me over to play more is Graphics,Sound and PVP option to stop people if needed to. One thing about PVP in L2 would be the castle sieges... Massive PVP its awsome . Everyone enjoy there MMO's that they love to play

both games PvP isnt refreshing nor even a bit good,both games have just half-assed PvP to be serious,if you ever played DAoC you will understand me instantly
but the diffrence in WoW and RF is
RF is based on PvP and sucks at it WoW is based on PvM(lvling items etc) and does it not really bad while the PvP sucks
RF sux at PvP and PvM and WoW sux at PvP only
that means WoW is better ^^ (i m neutral to RF but i hate WoW so dont call me a fanboy *sigh*)

I have to admit, that neither is really thrilling to me when it comes to PVP. Not all classes are made equal. Now I must admit I haven't tried RF...yet. That isn't to mean that it sucks. But if your wanting really PVP...then you should play Planetside. As everyone is equal, and it doesn' t matter if your 50+ Wizard and you work over a few newbies...Nope, cause a guns is a gun is a gun. You can get shot down by just about anything, and everything has it's weak point.
Personally I dont' truly get the whole "which is a better PVP game". As I started out in EQ back in the day and the only PVP'ers were nothing more than griefers who sat on your bind point and then spent the rest of the day talking it up to their buds how they "pwned some N00b...ew, what a Dw3bi3" . Or whatever that language seems to be that spouts forth from their mouths like a explosive diarhetic.
So I digress, if you want real PVP...go to planetside, otherwise find what you like about a game and enjoy it. Cause if your playing it and not enjoying it, then you should probably quit and find something else.

WoW is popular and no one can dispute that! But WoW PvP is far from good. I must say Guild Wars PvP is much better than WoW PvP. In short, RF PvP < WoW PvP < Guild Wars PvP.
Hoping for korean to come up a truely innovative and groundbreaking MMORPG or a PvP system, may be a little too much to ask.
Well i gotta say WoW PvP isn't about the skills you have its all about the items you have.... You gotta have epic stuff and shit just to do some good damage in the PvP and that sucks !!! I think WoW PvP is more for beginners cause its all about the items and the time you spend in the game

I played WoW for a year, and I've played RFO for a week.
Just thought I'd point out, I've never had to wait in a queue to PvP in RFO.

WoW is better in random encounter pvp, 1vs1.
RFO is much better when it comes to group and massive pvp.
