I need a free MMO to play or I have to get final fantasy 11.... I would really rather conserve all possible sums towards everquest 2. What is the best free MMO.

Yes, I am definitely buying Guild Wars. Since there is no subscription, I can just play whenever I want and never worry about paying a monthly fee. I am realy looking forward to it

Well, you can try and play tibia, i know they say its the worst **** game ever, but i thought it was good. Its kinda boring at first, but as you go on, it gets better. I myself thought it was boring at first, but it got fun...i raised a pally to lvl 29 and then i got hacked...AND THEN I **** QUIT THE STUPID GAME!

If you want a MMO to play, you could play PristonTale. Its not that great of a game (then again no free MMO game is), but its something to hold you over for awhile I guess.

That's not true, i happen to know that there're lots of free MMORPGs that are very good, and korean mmorpgs got great graphics and most of them are free, a minor drawbacks are that you've got to be able to read korean, so i wont post them here.

(if you're wondering why korean games are good and free, its because koreans make certain items in the games that can be bought only by real cash, so that they can sell it in the game for game money, and a reli good game i know makes about 1000$~2000$ (and thats saying something because korea is VERY small) a day i heard with that kind of system. and they give people a chance to play free too, i wonder why english games dont do things like that)

Well thats true. their is some korean type of MMOG out their I would like to try, but cant.

I haven't heard of a single korean game that had decent graphics and is free.. hell, even paying ones? L2 is probably the first one coming out in korea that will have nice graphics.

My suggestion to you for a free mmo would be to play either Gunbound or Priston Tale. Another good time killer would be Phantasy Star Online. So far those are the free games I play.

Ever played any of the worms games? Well, gunbound is basically sort of like worms except you only control one guy and you can buy armor and weapons for your avatar that makes him better (aka speed, power, blah..).

Well..if you just want a temporary free game to play...your best option would be to apply for a beta test. The games will not be free when they come out but beta testing is free, if you get accepted. These games would also be a lot better than all of the free games out there, since these are actually going to be released in the very near future. It can't hurt to submit a few applications. I know that there are quite a few MMO's in beta right now that probably wouldn't be too hard to get into. Check out the list of games on this site and it says which games are in beta. Just click on one of them that interests you, apply for the test, and then hope you get an email saying that you've been accepted!

If they manage to make KO a free game for some period of time (a year or two, even for life), It's definitely a check out and a solid one for a game intended to stay free.

19 here so fine print is a thing of the pass (normally).

But yea it really odes depend on what suits your tastes I play tales weaver currently which is basically cute 2d graphics like Ro with cute 2d backgrounds, depending on your tastes it probably wouldn't appeal to you.

If you don't feel like getting soemthing that HAS to be online, get Morrowind. It will cost you a little money, but its just one payment and you get the "feel" of a MMORPG even though its not really one.

I am 68% addicted to Counterstrike. What about you?

I used to play hostile space but after nearly two years playing it it has gotten boring, you get all the best stuff, you are at the highest level then it gets boring. It's a great game but like all games it get boring after awhile. I've heard from a friend that hostile space is goning to get some 3D content, might go back and check it out when that happens. Anyone know a good game to play that is free and not to big to download.
