My favorite FF memory has to do with being lost and off quest on a borrowed NES. My brothers and I struggled to figure out what the next step was for several days and getting a bit crazy about it. We were finally about to give it all up and go back …
Not a big fan of 40k, but everything in this article sounds perfect for the world.
It will be interesting to see if they get it to actually work that way in 2 years.

Welcome to DDO, good choice. Khyber is probably the best pop, but pug groups are great on Sarlona as well. Do not go to Argonessen, those folks are a different breed for the most part. If you go to Sarlona look me up, Ud…
My advice...
Try it out for a few days to see if the play style is a fit for you.
Then subscribe for one month to see what content you like. That unlocks all the goodies for the month and afterward gives you 2 extra character slots, some Turbine …

This story sounds odd…

Progression was the absolute least of my concerns in DDO.When i logged into that game i was amazed at how cheap and dated it looked.
Sounds like you may need to upgrade your video card.
You can get better prices from vendors in an area and dialog changes from NPCs for completing certain quests (Such as Shan-to-kor in the market). That's the only real difference that I can recall at the moment.

The self-help only support for free players sucks.
I think you can get around it since it's an account issue by contacting Turbine account support instead of DDO support though.
Forum and game accounts are separate. It is possible that you may have selected a different username/password or not signed up for a "community" account when you signed up for a game account. I think you can check that out at accounts.turbine.com.
There are two obstacles to overcome to get your characters to 20 from 16.
The first is that you need a leveling sigil. These drop as end rewards for level appropriate quests or can be purchased from the DDO store (I think the 17-20 sigil is around …
You'll have all of your characters on your account with a few restrictions.
If you've unlocked Drow, Warforged, 32pt builds, or Favored Soul (2500) favor those will be available.
Monks and Warforged must be purchased with turbine points even if yo…
Larry, you are talking about several different things as if they used the same mechanics when they do not. Your lack of English comprehension is muddying things up even more.

Paladin and Cleric are both good choices for what you want to do. For a first character I would suggest Paladin as it's quite a bit easier to play. Sticking with the pre-made paths until you get the hang of it is highly suggested.

Then I started grouping. It's gone downhill from there.
Group A, the power levelers, speed run dungeons. I was barely in a dungeon once and they already completed it.
Group B, the g…
