I like exclusives, I prefer exclusives that are earned, not bought.
Having said that, I do buy a lot of exclusives, especially mounts and pets. Oh and vanity armor sets and feast day clothes and shit on a stick if it looks cool.....

Be sure to eat food that boosts your health. I also sucked and my first character had to be a templar, cranked up my health and stanima, used heavy armour and carried a big two handed sword. I also ran away alot.
I love housing for the nothingness it adds to a game. I like to doodle, decorate and store stuff.
