The decisions being made by this team are more concerning to me than whether or not they actually follow through with them after the backlash.
They have no problems reducing player power level, increasing grind, invalidating entire playstyles…
Since this game is not a wow clone or a sci-fi clone everyone seems to have a low opinion of this game due to their lack of experience in the MMO genre.
If you honestly believe that most of the opinions about this game coming from the peopl…
"ROFL...At this point in time they can't even keep the website up and stable! It's down about 30-40% of the time".
That's total BS - the server downtime is listed in the forums. I come online at odd hours and have seen few server problems.

The game needs more work than can be accomplished in several month's time...the new "combat revamp" might be nice one day, but they first need to focus on getting the game FUN to play...
15-30 minutes to load into the game...
constant desync…
The game has more potential than any other game I've seen in a long time, BUT...I'm almost certain it'll never make it to that point.
For example...

Xsyon seems to me a lot like some combination of A Tale in the Desert and the first year of Eve Online. The combat currently sucks, and one assumes it will get better, but the tribal structure is cognate to the corp an…
I have to agree with WoW on this one...the Upside-Down Sinners is one of the creepiest places I've ever seen in a video game...the bodies are floating upside tethered to chains by nooses...I'll never forget the first time I went there.

I'll make the suggestion that you try Vangaurd if you haven't already. There's a free trial available from the website and last night we created a guild and a chat channel just for the purpose of people trying out the game.
After reading your ent…
Saw the Seradon server hit "High" population last night. There were probably 20-25 people in Veskal's Exchange alone. The place was full of people chattering it up and visiting. Some great people indeed!

My wife and I are playing again. We're on Seradon as well.
Aimen & Fenle Thurlaine we are. We had a great adventure last night when we wondered unintentionally into a big scary graveyard full of undead and barely made it out alive.

Hey Slap,
There's another thread growing by the hour right now (New, who wants to start with me?) that seems to have a pretty solid group of people from mmorpg.com looking to possibly create a guild.
I've got to talk to the wife about it (…
My wife and I have picked up the game again as well. I'm finishing up finals this week (for 7 different courses), but once I'm done with that we'll be playing in the evenings. In-game name is Aimen...Raki Paladin, so look me up.
After reading the Vanguard: Returning to Vanguard story today, my wife and I are re-subbing to the game. It's downloading and updating as I type this.
Vanguard has always held a special place in our hearts because it's the only game we've playe…

I rated it a 2 (possibly 3). I've posted my experiences elsewhere, but, in short, between the HORRIBLE patching/installing process, the invisible walls, and the overall lack of content/state of the game, it has a long way to go before being in the…
Yeah, at this point I don't care if a freakin' developer came here and claimed there were no invisible walls, I downloaded the game and encountered them for myself last night.
It wasn't lag. It wasn't rubberbanding. It was an invisible wall...…
