Possible a few years ago, but the amount of hype and pre-purchases alone make it a pretty big success.

We all know that most people who say they will never buy GW2 will give in within a month and will be some of it's most adament followers in the future.
I will take my sweet time, no shorter then a month probably. No reason to rush, especially when a game first comes out. I honestly feel sorry for the poor souls who rush to 80.
