Are you so conditioned that you actively searched for a way to input you…
This is the mentality that has been conditioned into MMORPG players heads by the subscription model. It encourages content rushing and mass grinding the most rewarding activities because most feel those are the only way that make their money worth.
For non FF fans, a lot of the addictiveness has to do with the animations (very flashy and beautiful, althought not very fluid) and the music( very enthralling), but once you look past the shiny paint you'll find that it's a good game but ultimately…
Well hopefully they'll implement a queueu system by the "actual launch", else there'll be a shitstorm.
But seriously, no queueu system in 2013, what in the actual fuck?
Regarding TESO, if you don't see it as a cash grab at launch before the inevitable transition to B2P/F2P, you're not very smart. Yeah, I would say it as a fact because it's so obvious.
Oh yes, features-wise, WoW at launch was not innovative, but the huge innovation that FF XIV fanboys here failed to see was WoW's design philosophy. MMORPGs at that time required a fuckton of grind, forced grouping, heavy death penalty,etc....and Wo…
I'm actually amazed that there're so many people who are blind (read stupid) enough to not realize this is whole P2P thing is just a cash grab to milk the early adopters (or fanbase) as much as possible before making the inevitable switch to F2P/B2P.

I don't get the outrage. Some people like having something to aim for in their game…

Even your precious Guild Wars 2 that was going to revolutionize the way people played RPG's with no gear progression has abandoned that failed and not…

Like it or not, a choice has to be made. Slow down and go back to grinding out content and have games you play for years. Or keep up with this fast paced high burnout, high …

It's also in the delivery of that content. Look at WoW. The content consumption race really took off when WoW lifted attunement. In TBC, players subbed for the long haul. In Wrath, they lifted attunement and conten…
