The reason I choose to be the bad guy in game is due to the fact that in real life you have to be the good guy all the time. It's fun to be the bad guy in game because it has no real life repercussions. At least that's how it is for me.

To be fair - if you pre-order from their site directly you can get the Collector's Edition for $59.99 instead of $79.99. Plus I chose the founders pricing of $9.99 per month for 6 months. Still a lot cheaper than STO Lifetime.
