I tend to agree with the article. I would add DFUW to the list of gone too soon. I actually find the original Darkfall inferior, other than world size.

I would have thought that advances in technology would have made making mmorpgs a bit easier...20 years later. I'm guessing that there is no dedicated audience or limited advances.

The only MMO I still play, due to the freedom and variety of things to do. Decent combat with the fairly unique combo system and a multitude of different classes and builds to play. The key being no linear quest hub that everyone runs down in line…

I enjoyed TBC the most. I'm not sure classic is going to be much fun. Is this release WoW or just before TBC WoW? Just before TBC was pretty good. I may check this out.
