Your character is always online, you as a player are not.
You can script functions for your OPC (offline player character) to do while you are offline. It could involve "sleep and rest and consume minimal food" etc. kind of thing. S…
In your penultimate paragraph, you wrote about login off while inside the "dungeon", but what happen to our body when we're not online: Does it vanish ? Or does it looked like sleeping ? Or maybe even some kind of " npc mode" with auto-defense if at…
Sounds very cool so far!
(True story: when I started playing WoW, me & my friend thought guild would worked like a real world medieval guild, ie: it would teach us crafting skills etc. We were kinda disapointed to discover the truth ! ^^)…
There's not a single features of CoE I don't find amazing and logical.
IF they successfully released it AND if the game isn't too clunky/buggy, it could indeed be a huge hit for any RP lovers.
Would be interesting to ask Paradox what they will do with the Onyx Path team: will they work together ? Will Onyx Path be free to release all the WoD books they want ?

I really enjoy that they're no trinity in GW2, but I was disapointed by the dungeons tacts. Most of the time it was messy. Maybe it was because I'm a new/casua…
I'm on the same boat as OP.
Maybe it's because I didn't find the guild for me, or maybe it's because I'm not a PvPer, but imho it's mostly because GW2, while introducing some needed changes from the WoW clones (dynamic events, non competitive game…
I liked JRPG too, but after a couple of them, you start seeing the patern behind: young boy who dream of big adventure -> starting village -> first levels on a small map -> meet extra people to build your team -> some boss -> access t…
