ANet seems to be pretty good at adding and removing content. Fortunately the story isn't that big of a deal anyway and the added content is bigger and more numerous than the removed.
Afaik, the only thing that was actually promised and not delivered were some activities like bar brawl. Looking at keg brawl I cannot say I miss the other activities much.
