Weapons breaking is a nice RL feature. Items degrade over time. It is boring if you can constantly use an item knowing it can never break.

Wildstar is the first MMO I played that I didn't reach max level. It just wasn't fun to me. I bought it on release and tried to hop back in after in went F2P but I only managed to get to about level 17.

I voted for FFXIV content updates. The content cycle keeps me engaged in the game.

My top 3 are FFXIV:Stormblood, Dragon Quest XI, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Currently play FFXIV and Crusader Kings 2.
