Too burnt out on the MMO scene right now. I didn't enjoy NWM or GW2. Hoping to find something else to sink my teeth into, but nothing in the MMO genre looks appealing atm.
Right now it is pretty much Borderlands 2 for me leveling up and min/maxing dps on various toons. Can't seem to get enough of that game.
GW2 might be worth a spin. Beyond that I think I will likely wait for new ones to come on the scene.
It's funny how psyched I was to try Neverwinter. I loved all of the games in its legacy line. I will look at some of the games listed and see if anything really grabs me.
Thanks for the responses!
Sigh I really wiah we had a Galaxies like crafting system. I CANNOT believe I am not playing any MMOs currently. What a shocker. As crappy as people make Galaxies out to be, it was such a damn cool game particularly when you had an entire economy…
Scot you have a good point.
You know what was funny about SWG was how little we actually had at the beginning to work with and how much fun it was as the economy built up and PvP drove the economic engine. Every server was clamoring for better wea…
Failure here is really inconceivable. It is so hard to get my head around what a mess SWTOR became before I quit. Wargames really just made me wince. Where is the war if you are playing BS simulations. How did they miss the fact that PvP is an …
It really is astonishing isn't it. I've now gone through TWO Star Wars licensed MMOs (who would EVER have thought there would be more than one shot at this) and both failed. Why? We could go on forever discussing it but at the end of the day, in…
No one can deny the system is therefore dumbed down. Honestly when I was playing WoW I enjoyed looking at the trees and being able to allocate points. Every level up seemed worth something.
In any event I am a long way away from WoW now. Remarka…
New warzones..... IMHO just a way of explaining they cant handle massive PvP scaled battles. The vision for the game seems so limited and yet there is so much potential in the SW IP I cant stand it. So sad.
The OP is exactly right.
Blizzard doesn't innovate. It borrows and packages, just like Apple
I don't think most posters here know that Blizzard basically copied/licensed Warhammer content. And Apple took what it liked out in the world of technol…
So funny, I dont know why I cant bring myself to buy the game. Probably the burnout on SWTOR. $60 is nothing for a good game these days. Perhaps I am just jaded with the fantasy setting after WoW.
Anything else coming out this year in the…
Quite remarkable that we have heard nothing more on this. Dont they get the fact that gamers are losing interest in the WoW property and that F2Ps are going to drag away more? Mind you 9.1 MILLION is a lot of subscribers for such an aging property.…
Truly sad. I really feel for the employees who probably thought, as most of us did, that the game really had legs.
Man does this show you that money does not whitewash game issues. One day I hope we really find out what the devs were striving for…
The game is going to slowly fade from popular view like AoC et al. Bringing a droid into play from the popular single player game KOTOR will not bring back players. It really is just something to do for those diehards that will basically stick wit…
I disagree on all fronts with the article. I am not sure what Blizzard was aiming for with D3 other than making a fortune of course.
The story was quite dull, dragging out former enemies for no apparent reason. In fact it almost felt like a redo …
SWG spoiled me rotten. I remember playing that game as my first MMO and thinking "wow, we can do anything here. it is our world." And we made it that way.
Yes, tons of things wrong with it. Lack of content blah blah blah. But what the game did…
That recap was well worth the read (assuming it's true of course). I find it hard to believe that Bioware could fail at the development or that EA was so asleep at the switch but there you go.
I wish those in game the best of luck and hope it ult…
I would have gladly stayed in TOR if it wasnt for the absurd rebalancing and total lack of PvP outside of wargames. I guess I was so overjoyed to see another SW TOR I overlooked the fine print that wargames were going to be the be all/end all.

It is stunning watching what they are doing.
So glad I cancelled months ago.
Had such hopes for this game. Unreal.
This is probably the final nail in the coffin for an SW MMO for many years.
The saddest part is that the potential is ridicul…
