Not sure what the big deal about terraforming is. Second Life has been doing it since 2003 and on a server that has about 55,000 online at any given point, terraforming causes zero lag.

Yes VS came out well before UWO, furthermore VS is more sandbox and doesn't hold you on rails as badly as UWO does. Most importantly the controls are much better in VS.
