Was DAoC really a challenge though? It was a grind for hours with a group of guildies to level up, but not really any challenge. Only challenge I remember in DAoC (EU) was playing as a Hibbie because the Mids & Albs out numbered you 3 to 1.

Makes Civ 6 look good.
The maps are tiny (even the "Huge" one), the AI is dumber than sticks (not seen them in a ship yet... not once!, and the end game is you on an island building up cities because you cleared out the dumb AI early and the rest…

C'mon now, everyone knows MMOs are all about the gameplay and socialization, amirite?
And don't forget the lore and story.

Dodgy controls and a very weak story, not to mention the wokeness oozing from it, then add to that no real pilot career mode... I wonder if people wasted their cash on the same game? I must have bought the knockoff version by Electrik Artists.

Money must be getting tight over at Blizzard when we get cheap cartoon graphic cut-scenes these days... Nope, still not going back. The game's being systematically wreaked ever since WotLK, Legion gave a glimmer of hope, but that light was soon exti…

I do still jump back in to DAoC now and again. I'd go back 24/7 if they revamped the game to make it more modern (can't see Unchained cutting it tbh). As for the Phoenix Freeshard, I was talking to a EA rep that said the devs are looking into legal …
If I'm honest, I don't feel that there is any. Only one I looked upon as "mature" and not full of the "Loot NOW!" & "Faster, faster!" crowd of younglings was Dark Age of Camelot, alas it is a dead Duck in the UK/EU.
I miss Excalibur & Prydwy…
