Paying to Alpha/Beta test a game is a joke, will never understand why people get suckered into it. Back in the day, devs paid you to test game, now silly sheep are giving them money to do their work for them.

Sounds like you had a run of bad luck, both power supplies going out like that. Hopefully your new ones will be more reliable but I doubt STO is to blame. Even at the most I don't think it could have demanded any more then the maximum required power…

I've been following the game for awhile now and I believe it's legit. Even so I still won't pre-order or expect anyone else to due to the games less then reputable past. Anything smelling even remotely of Rapid Reality is going to be hard to trust.
