I'm part of the crowd that purposely didn't play after I was hooked because I wanted to explore it all with a fresh perspective. Only leveled up one character to 9, the rest just dabbled with to see start zone differences, race differences, etc.. …
No issues here playing on a dinosaur. Phenom II X4 910 processor @ 2.60ghz. 8 gig ram. AMD Radeon 6850. Win64. 300 watt power supply and zero issues. I do use a 240gig SSD drive though, so maybe that helps with all the lower system specs.
I've enjoyed the betas so far to the extent I don't want to play knowing it's all going bye-bye and I don't want to ruin the experience of playing the game "for real". With that being said, I expect and support full wipes before launch with any gam…
Thanks for the Curse heads up for a code for the Beta starting on the 4th thru the 6th. Been on the fence about pre-ordering and this will give me another chance to give it a whirl.
Speaking from an old-timer's (age 50+) viewpoint, cartoony doesn't bother me either. Gameplay is much more important. WS has features that other games left out for one reason or other such as Housing (Asheron's Call had this and I loved it). WS's…
Open world? Check. Housing? Check. Rails if you want them? Check.
Looks to be a fun version of other games we are familiar with and definitely not to be taken seriously. Having viewed the teasers, website, etc., it's appealing to even older folks…
I was playing since retail release and took a couple breaks. This has been my longest break and I've no desire to go back especially with this latest content patch where it's basically, "Go here and loot purple shiny's". No more carrot on a stick …
This looks interesting. Always wanted an MMO based on Starcraft. This would be a wacky sort of take-off on that which suits me just fine. Housing? Sweet! Played Asheron's Call back in the day and this would be an obvious replacement for somethi…
"Subscriptions, even in their heyday, were always a losing proposition."
I'm sure the folks at Blizzard would contend with that statement right there.
Give us a good solid game that is updated regularly, robust in what you can do, and folks…
With new games on the horizon it will only get worse, not better. It's a shame, they had such a wonderful licensing product to work with and made it not a whole lot of fun to play in the long run.
Meh, I level capped, played all classes on both sides of the fence, and cancelled my subscription. Lack of open world exploration was a sore point for me. All this technology, speeders, space fleets, yet I can't explore the world because it's on "…
I read the agreement and was immediately put off by it. When an agreement says you have full access to my computer to include my camera and microphone....ouch. I clicked "cancel" after reading that, no game is worth an agreement like that.
My friends and I are playing Empire. We have one friend who is going to be playing Republic a bit moreso so we're having her set up a Republic Guild for us when we're bored or want to altaholic it a bit.
We're playing to play, it's really as simp…
