Perfect World or Mabinogi I'd say. Try them both out as they are very different from each other and I feel they are MUCH better than Sword of the New World.

I basically have the same setup as you (probably the same case, as mine is huge and silver but is super quiet) and 4 gigs of ram and have the same problems you do. Let me know if you find a solution.

There were riots in WoW on a few servers...it was so long ago I forget what it was about. BTW this isn't off-topic, just mentioning RS wasn't the first Western game to have riots.

If you're just looking for a grind-type game then yeah it's not too bad. The graphics are very good, the combat is average, and the grind isn't too bad starting out.
