As a former Skald and lover of speed in any game, yes... it is a great element in the game. Ah yes I forgot my motto from my speed characters "speed is life!"

I think if it is used by shield wielding warriors it would be a good thing. Shadowbane had it, warhammer had it. In a good pvp game, it makes sense. I dont think a mage is going to hold back a horde though.

I disagree. Planetside 2 uses its in game VOIP and it helps coordinate in large battles with non-guildmates. Having an in game voip is not a bad thing in a large scale PvP game (which WoW is NOT).
