I don't think another Planetside will be made for a long time, because it's very difficult to do, technically. Planetside struggled to have ~150 players on each side in one world.

- No quests, only player-made missions
- No leveling, only promotion based on social actions
- No grind, no NPCs, no boring shit

Generally you don't need to pay attention to the amount of RAM on a video card. More VRAM is only needed for playing at higher resolutions, most people will be fine with 512MB of VRAM.

Every time I think of this game I cry. It's the 'perfect' MMO for me - no grind and an active community. Unforunately, one milestone patch ruined it all. I really hope that some other publisher buys this license some day.
