They are clearing the way for CCP to sell isk and other items themselves. Simple as that. They already do it in an off hand way with PLEX. They just want to get all the monees.

Yeah. Spend money on a subscription, use lots of isk and time to train your skills and set up your 'colony' and then have some Dust 514 horses arse with a free subscription come along and blow it all to hades. That sounds real fun.

Well let's see. They were told they owned the property in the game. It's theirs. That property takes up space on the server. The space on the server is physical so in a way they own physical space on a server. Good luck getting five mill out of that.

Life is the biggest MMO and the biggest sandbox with the largest concurrent player base...EVER. I don't think CCP can beat the 6 billion mark, eh? EVERYONE plays but the subscription can be cancelled without notice at any time. =D
