I agree that he measn in MMOs, but the OP should look to actual TTRPGs in the virtual tabletop format imo. Way better than the very minimal interface of MMOrpgs, Fantasy grounds or Roll 20 are good choices.

Been playing mainly on PvE servers but so far the game is fun. I think we will do PvP later when the game comes out and there are more reasons to have in game community.
