This new point system sucks. I haven been a member for years and now it has been reset and I have to rebuild post replies just to be able to make OPs? What a bunch of shit.
I always loved their job system of getting some benefits of other jobs to go with your main one. I sort of wish FFXIV would have borrowed a little from that.
I simply cannot stomach any more necklace grinding...Over it and the armor system this round. I have no issues sitting out until next expansion and watching the lore unfold on YouTube. f'it.

LOL wow, I was floored at how this thread took on a life of its own.
I grew up poor in the 80's, my first game for NES was an rpg game and it was Dragon Warrior. I only got the system (hand-me-down) a year before I had that game, mainly just pl…

I'm not sure that it's a function of the game that causes this. I think it is the community. Players are intolerant of others who do not 'know' the encounter/camp/dungeon/raid, and there's little incentive to teach others. Teach…
Recently started transitioning back to table top rpg'ing (D&D5e) just for the camaraderie, hilarity, and not having to study before hand. The surprise of what was going to happen was part of the fun. But you cant easily play a lot, games have …

The main thing that stops me from playing...and I can't even pinpoint why it bothers me...but the game not being an official part off the Star Wars canon, just takes away something from it for me. I know it was never considered that before, but whe…
It's odd that I can go to that horrible Freeport redesign and Commonlands revamp one second...and there is old school Butcherblock across the pond...personally, I'd rather keep it classic zones in original form.

Is there a different story for each class or there a different story for dark/light side?
It would be a monumental expansion to achieve individual class stories. I know it would peak my interest.
I usually re-visit it at least once a year. I never play regularly anymore, but just enough to get my fix and then move on. The genre is so saturated, plus certain console games I am trying to finish, that there literally isn't enough time to devo…
I know this thread is over a week old. I am installing it now. I've played off and on before. I always get nostalgic for it when the holidays from Halloween to Christmas begin as I always enjoyed the events.
