You could always give up PC gaming and explore the expensive world of console gaming. :P I'm sure there are many titles that can keep you hooked without it having to be an MMO. …
just heads up to the op. I feel your pain. Trion has really bummed me out twice. Once with rift and then again with trove. I played AA for about 20 mins and got ganked and then i was done so dont know much about that but trion is right up there with…
nothing. Paying money today for something who knows when is a bad deal. But for those that do I would like to let you know of this ocean front property in arizona i wish to sell you....
Dragomon Hunter has a fun samurai class, if you can get past the chibi-anime style characters and rampant botting.
Tera has a ninja thats very fun at the moment (i say atm , cuz im pretty sure its "too fun" and the nerf bat is on its way)
its older , but i liked how DDOs cleric could use his heal spells to do dmg (and pretty decent too) to undead. Ive always thought healers shouldnt have to manage two sets of skills (heals and dps) and that their heals should double as dmg spells whe…
problem with challenge is the amount you may like other people may not. IMO both types of gamers (those that like challenge and those that dont) can be satisfied. For instance , dungeons with multiple difficulty settings are great for this.
just from its selection steam seems to be where games go to die mostly , not flourish. cant imagine any metrics from Valve really can be looked at as accurate or meaningful.
if anything we as players should be MORE selective.. and actually hold the game companies and the devs to an even stricter set of guidelines for mmos. Even tho this reduces the quantity of mmos I will play/contribute to , I just cant settle for obvi…
hmm, hard to remember bad ones as i usually just uninstall and they are gone from my memory as well at that point. Salem comes to mind. Archage. BnS is pretty bad but far from worst ever. Come to think of it... I think every title for the last 3 yea…
if you look at the history of open pvp games, they usually fail due to abuse and griefing. almost all the previous titles with open pvp have failed. Archage, Asta , Echo of Soul immediately come to mind but there's a lot more. Ever wonder why choos…
for me WS was just boring...non stop grind and very little fun to be had. common theme in todays mmos unfortunately. "Dont make the game too fun, or players wont have incentive to buy the fun"..
the reason the genre isn't actually dying in numbers is there's always new players coming of age to play video games. always a new group of people to try and scam out of some money. However , the reason the general feeling of gamers that the genre i…
this game was decent until i realized that it was open pvp past lvl 40 .all the dungeon entrances and public quests were being camped pretty badly when i played.
heh, the "reason" they used kickstarter is the same reason anyone does anything..greed. they saw how much money Camelot Unchained has made from fools and thought .."hey i gotta get in on that!" Cant say i blame em tho. if people are dumb enough to j…
i dont think it will be any diff then anything else out. and they are proving me right with the whole "oh you can play for free for 4 days" thing. I havent bothered and wont untill they offer it f2p. blizzard has enough of everyone's money.
ah they must have got rid of seastone finally lol. been talking about doin that forever. They did the name thing a month or two ago. purged all inactive names.
the next "conqueror" will be a game who's company is going with a totally different business model, and also will make a point to find ways to cater to players rather then limiting them. Imagine a game where everything that would have been in the ca…
