Let's be real - no one wants to stumble around in the dark anymore be they casual or hardcore.
Sorry nope.
I still play games without any knowledge beforehand. Discovering it myself, my way, my time, my effort. It is not a…
Allow me to add.
Before WoW, there were no concepts of stupid raids and gear farming. It was all Role-Playing and RP-PK (not even PvP).
Today, if you can't join raids, you're as good as useless. No raid = No gear = No guild = Boring Game = Move on.
"Crytek doesn't have the resources to compete with this level of investment and have never been focused on the network or online aspects of the engine in the way we or Amazon are."
Boom, nailed it.
Or let's put it another way, Crytek is on…
DnL will never be released. It will forever be remembered as the longest under development sandbox MMO.
I think they are going for the award "longest under development video game" which is currently being held by Duke Nukem Forever.
Hey Snail Game…
Paying for an Early Access game, especially those made by indie gaming companies, is my way to show support, regardless whether the game is good or bad. Either way, I like buying games on Steam.
Have you tried the Romance of the Three Kingdom, I heard it's good. They have the Dynasty Warrior mod (they even included Japan on that mod but I forgot the name)
Try Mount and Blade: Warband or any other series with Mount n Blade on it. If you're into mobile, you can try Torchlight Mobile, MU Origins or Zenonia.
It's sandbox MMO, what is there not to like? Of course we're a fan!
But a permanent death will bring realism and the difficulty level way up. I remember Trials of Ascension was supposed to be that sandbox MMO with permanent death.
Currently playing Diablo 3, hoping that the new class will be added before the year ends. Playing Grim Dawn, too. They even have an update on this game this coming December. (hopefully it's a free content, budget's tight because of the holidays). H…
You don't know anything about "sandbox" games if you think it is "an excuse to make a low budget mmo".
Ultima Online is a sandbox MMORPG.
Dark Age of Camelot is a sandbox MMORPG.
Tabula Rasa is a sandbox MMO3PSRPG.
ArcheAge is a sandbox MMORPG.
Sec…
I can not believe you did not include Ultima Online. That was the first "massively" multiplayer online "role-playing" game.
Lineage 1 is the first "massively" multiplayer online "PK/PvP/Castle Siege" game.
You don't even have Meridian59 there, the…
I agree that GW2 is a step backwards. GW1 was *the* third generation mmo, the way Richard Garriott and other legendaries envisioned it. But in GW2, they had to succumed to the demands of players who hates GW1 and change it.
That's a big statement to claim that GW2 is setting the new highlight in MMO. I think before you claim that title you should have done some survey first to get the opinion of most of the players.
Last game I played consisting of 18 players in order to start the dungeon was dekaron but that was years ago and you really need to ask someone for help coz it's one of the most important quest if I'm not mistaken it's for first trans-up quest. But …
It's been awhile since I stop playing path of exile this is worth checking. Let's see if this new event is really challenging enough to take me at the edge of my seat and burn my fingers to death. Lols, see you there guys!
What I can suggest to you is to not get too much attached to a game. It's only a game like in a basketball it will be over in one hour. The only constant thing is this world is change. Be it a new tech, trend or game story line, it will soon be over…
For me the best looking MMO's out there are:
ArcheAge
MU Origin especially the Magic Knight
Scarlet Blade sadly it was closed. I haven't got the underwear unlocker for this game.
I don't really have too much time for games due to workload so crafting is a big problem for me because you really have to put time and effort in finding materials and upgrading your skills in order to open up a new craft item skill. So for me I lik…
