I would say my favorite part of DAOC was the ability to zerg bust if you had really talented CCers in your group. I think GW2 will be lacking the ability to have talent outweigh numbers because of the shortage of CC. Besides that, GW2 has been a l…
I think a big issue with MMO's is that they are too big to be honest. I feel that an MMO is just such a massive project that they need to not worry about bloating how massive the world is and how much content there is at launch, but worry about mak…

I don't need a DAOC 2, as much as I would love one. I just can't force my self to play these linear playground games that have 0 exploration except for following the beaten path that 1000 people follow every day.
I just want a new MMO that fo…

I was let into SWG, WAR, and Vanguard all about 6-12 months before open beta started. Not sure what I did to get in, I guess that I wrote a good "Reason you want to be apart of the beta." I would pretty much just say that I am very excited for the…
Amazing video. I really enjoy how they tried to highlight the core features and concepts behind the game play in the cinema. Most games just make cinemas that have bad ass fight scenes, but really relate to the game in no way at all.
Just pre-ordered. Funny that the mmo market is so dry right now that I am willing to spend 60 bux on a game that only has two videos, one cinema, and not much else. If they actually deliver on half of the stuff they are promising, I will have a bl…
I think that the reason why they were all standing still was because they were trying to show it off as a story more than actual real game play. Obviously you wouldnt just stand still and not move in real PVP.
My biggest problem when WoW players come to a new game that I am interested in is that:
1) All you see in general chat is how much better WoW is than the current game they are playing. Not a huge deal.
2) It puts an artificially high demand o…
