To OP. I give another vote to the 280X, there is quite a bit of difference in power between the 270X and the 280X. Also, if you plan on keeping the card for a long time to get the best bang for the buck, it would be most clever to go with the 280X…

I did a bit of reading around for you and it just seems that people in general prefer AMD when they are gonna use multiple monitors on a single graphics card. Their Eyefinity solution simply works better then Nvidia's version for the Geforce series…
