A lot of people that have played WoW think the GCD in FFXIV is too slow. Unless you play a MNK or NIN at the higher levels, most actions take 2+ seconds to execute, but you do get abilities to use in between on occasion to fill in the gaps.
As a l…
It's easier to level up now with Palace of the Dead and whatnot, but yeah, if you're going through the mandatory dungeons as a DPS as your first class the queues can kinda suck.
I've been keeping my eye on this CPU because I just haven't been too impressed with the performance gains generation over generation with the Intel chips. I'm still running a i5-2500k overclocked because it hasn't been a bottle neck for anything I'…
This patch will really start ramping up the main story to segue into Stormblood. The main story will be broken into two parts, and they're really trying to cause as little interruption as possible. It'll still be about a three month wait from the …
All we know so far is they're going to remove some ability bloat by making more shared actions between roles while making others job or role specific. I'd be highly surprised if they did anything to change the base battle system.
I came in kinda late in Burning Crusade, so I guess I'm a bit biased towards Wrath of the Lich King since I completed all of that content. Of the content I experienced in BC though, it was pretty fun.
Final Fantasy XIV has a completely different rule set for PvP, so I don't see why other games aren't able to accomplish the same feat. (this only applies to instanced PvP though. I imagine open-world PvP would be a lot harder to balance)
I have enough consoles as it is, I can't get another one, especially a handheld. Last handheld game I played was DQIX, and while it was a good game it was not good on my hands. They cramped up after playing for so long.

Just wait for SC to come to its conclusion whatever that may be, and in the meantime...

Agreed, Rebel Galaxy is a cheap way to experience a…
Posted in the "nostalgia" thread earlier, but it'd probably help you enjoy a game more if you went in with no expectations and played the game for what it is. Only then will you be able to tell whether it's something you'll enjoy or not. If you go…

Bikini's = Strong sexual content? You're suggesting a bikini is akin to child nudity? "we can't let our children see children in bikini's!" bet that makes swim practice really freaking difficult.
Never really understood this. …
I voted no for me personally, but I've seen plenty of cases where people will say "if x game doesn't have y features I won't play it", thus ignoring several games that could have the potential to be something they would enjoy.
I think it's hard to …

I would stop playing if it went F2P. With the game remaining P2P I know that new content will be delivered on a predictable schedule and the game's development funds won't be based around how many cosmetic pets were sold. There's also a certain ba…
