I think it was more on both that the old schoolers wanted. Now days its the quests that give xp and mobs give little to none xp. So why bother making mobs in between quests circles.

I only played it for a bit. But combat looks good. And the in game movies look good.

So you have to pay for this expansion. For what. a new area to gear grind. Six skill points. No new weapons. No new Powersets. And i still dont got my Super Strength power set. Yep if you want to rage or be a elemental tank this game is for you.
