Still turns me off I that I have to look at a tablet. I was enjoying the game greatly, till I found out about maps and having too look for shards.

It's not that game but is there another MMO based off Dark Eye? The game I'm thinking about is a bit slower, it's not hack and slash and it was quest based.

Cooking feels like a chore. I want to play, not log in a feel like I'm at work. Food decays... so you'll constantly be cooking.

I bought it and can't play... even on single player, it says something about not being able to generate single player server.

Just play the game before you bash the price/store. You get bags for doing quests and don't need to spend any money.
